The Maureen M. McLaughlin, MSN, Center For Health Professions, formerly known as the historic St. Joseph Academy, is located within the Adrian Dominican Sisters’ campus. The five-story building is used for classrooms, lab space, showcases a mock exam room, student lounge and faculty offices. The building, which formerly served as an elementary and high school was construction in 1948, underwent its first renovations to the second floor in August 2016, to house the Education Department and classrooms. In 2019, the third and fourth floors were renovated to support the expanding program of Nursing. The space showcasing state-of-the-art technology including an Anatomage Table which enables students to learn using a virtual library of human and animal cadavers as well as explore clinical diagnostic tools.
